More & Senz
For a new-build villa, More&Senz was brought in to help shape the lighting plan. The client came by our showroom to see the Graypants pendants in person together with the interior architect. After working through the details with MoreSenz and Timo from VANMOKUM, they designed a layout that brought both collections together. The result became the heart of the home. Above the kitchen island and dining table, a cluster of Roest pendants in warm browns and soft grays echoes the dark, tactile interior. And in the stairwell void, a sculptural arrangement of Scraplights cascades down along the full-height triangular window, the recycled cardboard catching the daylight from every angle. Studio Noorderfabriek
Studio Noorderfabriek, a unique daylight studio and event space located in an old factory building in Amsterdam-Noord, near the IJ. With a total area of 500 m², an 8-meter high ceiling, skylights, and a harmonious blend of Scandinavian, Japanese, and Mediterranean design, this location offers an inspiring environment. The studios feature large windows, stylish furniture, and beautiful accessories. The minimalist aesthetic and natural materials make both studios ideal for photoshoots, events, workshops, collection launches, meetings, and more.

Hotel Rumour by Studio Modijefsky
Project: Hotel Rumour, Leiden
As the oldest structure in Leiden, dating back to 1060, the Burcht van Leiden castle is one of the most evocative places in the city. Just down the hill is a carriage house that itself dates back to 1657. Studio Modijefsky has brought this humble building into the 21st century as Hotel Rumour: a vibrant social hub that can host everything from lively dinners to intimate drinks, private gatherings and dance nights.

For this project, they created a custom installation using Graypants' Scraplights Moon, which is mounted on a ring canopy. This approach allows daylight to filter through the central opening, while the sculptural lamp hang just beneath it. Softening the space without blocking the light.

Inspired by the sophisticated ambiance of airport lounges, Mel Interiors carefully studied the design principles and the psychology behind their color palettes to bring this vision to life. Shades of blue evoke calmness, reliability, and trust, creating a soothing atmosphere. White enhances openness, making the space feel airy and expansive.
Gray and stainless steel add a modern, high-tech aesthetic, reinforcing durability and sleekness. The Frama Rivet collection, crafted from raw aluminium, and the Ovoid lighting series, featuring stainless steel with handblown glass, integrate effortlessly into this vision. Their clean lines and refined finishes echoing the architectural precision and contemporary elegance of the space.
To balance these cool tones, they introduced earthy hues like cognac and brown, bringing warmth and sophistication. By thoughtfully integrating these elements, they designed a space that embodies this passion while maintaining a perfect harmony between elegance and functionality.
